ARE YOU TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE BLOG ERA?
One area that few businesses have so far grasped is 'blogs', an area in which Kevin Jones at Treleague in Falmouth seems to have excelled.
Take a look at the blog link on http://www.treleague.co.uk/ for more info. Kevin is happy to take calls from any businesses interested in his experiences, both of web development and his whole B&B investment.

The following is an extract from S.W.Tourism intersting reading!
ARE YOU LICENSED TO PLAY YOUR MUSIC?
If you play music in your business or want to include it in your product you need clearance to do so from the owners of that music. The Performing Right Society (PRS) represents the owners and can get you the clearances you need.
Despite what you might think, it is likely that you are using commercial music within your business. Commercial music can be defined as any music produced that is being marketed directly to the general public by any medium, including concerts and discos, plus background music in pubs, restaurants and hotels. If you don’t obtain clearance for your use of copyright music, you could face legal action and may become liable to pay damages and costs.
PRS collects royalties under licence when their works are publicly performed or communicated to the pubic.
With the run-up to Christmas, it is advisable that all members check their licence regarding commercial music. If in doubt, contact PRS on 0845 300 6033 or view www.prs.co.uk/musiclicence

Appreciating how important it is for businesses to plan ahead, we are pleased to provide advance notification of school and public holiday dates.
Each county operates different dates so it is advisable to check these throughout the whole region. For example, Cornwall spring half term is 11th – 15th February, whereas Devon is 18th – 22nd February resulting in an extended spring break for the industry. The Spring holidays are also variable with Cornwall dates 20th March – 4th April, including Easter, and Devon from 5th – 20th April, with additional days off for Good Friday and Easter Monday during the term; the result is an extended spring school holiday period lasting for a full month.
